Avlu Architecture Website Concept
A premium website concept for an Istanbul architecture studio — editorial layouts, cinematic project pages and a fast, privacy-compliant build.

Problem
Architecture studios sell with images, yet many of their websites feel like generic templates: heavy, slow and hard to navigate. Beautiful projects get lost in cluttered grids, and visitors leave without understanding the studio's approach or how to start a project.
This concept set out to show how an architecture website can feel as considered as the buildings it presents — calm, editorial and clearly guiding visitors towards an inquiry.
Solution
The site blends an editorial serif with a crisp grotesk, a cool paper palette and a single cobalt accent. A full-screen hero, a word-by-word reveal of the studio's philosophy, an experience section with live counters and a staggered project grid create a cinematic rhythm.
Every project opens in its own detail view with facts, a written story and a captioned gallery, with smooth transitions between projects. A six-step process, testimonial and clean inquiry form complete the path from interest to contact.
Challenge
The challenge was to make the site feel rich and animated without becoming slow. All fonts and images are self-hosted and served as responsive WebP, cutting the first mobile load from about 3.5 MB to around 0.5 MB.
The concept is also fully English, accessible and privacy-ready: no third-party requests, a GDPR/KVKK-compliant consent manager, and dedicated privacy and cookie policy pages.
Summary
Avlu shows how a premium website can give an architecture studio a calm, confident presence online — fast, accessible and built to turn admiration into real project inquiries.
It reflects Studio Albayrak's approach: original design, clear structure, technical care and conversion-focused thinking.
