Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

This policy is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. Visiting the website

When you visit, the hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the site securely — such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. This is based on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)) and logs are kept only for a short period.

3. Contact form and email

If you contact me — through the contact form, the project planner, email or WhatsApp — I process the details you share (name, email address, the service or project type and timeline you pick, your website address if given, and your message) to answer your request and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).

Form submissions are received through Netlify Forms and forwarded to my inbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. I keep inquiries for up to 2 years, or longer if they lead to a project and the law requires it.

4. Cookies

This website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies, so no cookie banner is needed. If this ever changes, I'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.

5. Service providers and transfers

• Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form handling, USA)
• Google LLC (email via Google Workspace)

These providers act as processors under data processing agreements. Transfers outside Türkiye and the EEA are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), or the data protection authority in your EU country. To exercise any right, email mehmet@studioalbayrak.com; I reply within 30 days.

Links to Instagram, X, Behance, WhatsApp and project demos open those services, which have their own privacy policies. If you message me on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) processes that conversation under its own terms.
